In an exciting round at 1.99 m, the win in the $10,000 Costume 4-bar at Royal West, Sponsored by The Horse Store, was co-awarded to Jeff Campf and Ninou 2 and Hailey Rogge and Zine Dine.

Both Campf and Rogge, along with Jenny Jones cleared the 1.90 m jump and all three attempted at 1.99 m, which would have been a Royal Wes record height. Campf and Rogge had the top rail, while Jones took an unfortunate spill. The record holder remains Jenni McAllister, who in 2016 jumped 1.95 m for the win. Campf is no stranger to big fences – he holds the record in Del Mar, jumping over two meters in 2010.

Rogge rode the Thoroughbred gelding Zine Dine (Unbridled Time x My Belle), who she has bought off the track 9 years ago when he was 4. Now at 13 years old, Zine Dine has won the USEF Touch of Class Trophy, which is in honor of Joe Fargis’ 1984 Olympic Thoroughbred mare Touch of Class, USA’s only double clear Olympic Gold Medal winning horse.

Brooke Peterson and her horse Fast Flo, dressed as Wonder Woman, had a rail at the 1.90 m height. The 14 year old from Texas regularly shows her mare in the 1.20 m classes. Watch her interview HERE.

Impressive highlights included clearing 1.75 m for Andy Kocher, Kyle King, Shaelynn Enders, Colin Savaria, Cassidy Rothwell, and Carla Diewert.
